The European Network of Migrant Women (ENoMW) marked its 10th anniversary in 2022, celebrating a decade of impactful projects aimed at safeguarding the rights of women and girls, particularly migrants. The 2022 Activity Report looks back on a year of work in support of migrant women's rights. The report outlines initiatives such as constructing a women's rights perspective on the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, delivering training programs for legal professionals, and creating a database of case law related to the protection of migrant women's rights as part of the FULFIL project. The report also presents our research on reproductive exploitation and trafficking in women, leading to policy recommendations and collaboration with other EU platforms.
ENoMW engages in various projects supporting migrant and refugee women, emphasizing male violence, migration challenges, political participation, and labor market inclusion. Additionally, the report underscores the ENoMW's advocacy work at the EU, Council of Europe, and UN levels, with a focus on the most vulnerable women. ENoMW actively supports Afghan and Ukrainian women, providing solidarity, raising awareness, and participating in initiatives to address their unique difficulties. The report concludes by highlighting the ENoMW's commitment to the global feminist movement, combating backlash against women's rights, and acknowledging the importance of collaboration and support among women.
