The statment below, addressed to the UN Human Rights Council States and UNSRVAWG, was delivered during the Interactive Dialogue of UN Special Rapporteur Reem Alsalem at the 56th session of the Council on 24 June 2024, in response to UNSRVAWG presenting her thematic report on Prostitution and Violence against Women.

The statement was delivered by the ECOSOC accredited Equality Now, on behalf of a group of NGOs including the Brussels' Call Coalition representing over 100 NGOs working for a Europe Free from Prostitution, European Network Of Migrant Women, CAP International, and National Council of Women Canada.
