To mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, we are holding a very special event in Brussels!
It will consist of:
πΈ An exhibit
πΈ A roundtable on migrant women rights with experts and activists
πΈ A presentation of the toolkit "Draw the line against violence against women and girls"
πΈ An artistic performance by WORLD WIDE WOMEN .
Who are the WORLD WIDE WOMEN? Following a creative expression workshop led by the company Transe-en-Danse at the Reception Center for Asylum Seekers of the Red Cross in Jambes (Belgium) from October 21 to 30, a group of women residents of the center will share with you what they have on their hearts. By dancing, singing, slamming, in any language or in silence, they will tell you who they are, with their body and their heart, while allowing you to imagine what it means to be a woman in exile.
